- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. Responses to this publication are solicited to identify qualified sources. Qualified sources are limited to 8(a) and small business concerns only, who have the interest and ability to provide the training listed below. The NAICS code is 611430 and the Size Standard is $6.0 million. This is not a request for a formal proposal. This synopsis seeks to identify the interest from potential 8(a) contractors and small business concerns to provide the training listed below. Interested contractors must demonstrate that they can: (1) provide a one week (5 working days) course for Verbal Judo/Situational Planning/Investigative Interviewing Training for approximately 50 FDA students per course, and (2) develop the course material which shall include a course objectives and introduction, course agenda and a textbook and update all course materials as required by FDA. Responses must reference Request for Information (RFI) number 223-04-4301 and include the following: (1) name and address of firm, (2) type of business (i.e., small business, small disadvantaged 8(a) certified, woman-owned small business, small disadvantaged business (not 8(a) certified, or veteran-owned small business) (3) two points of contract: name, title, phone, fax and email, (4) DUNS number, (5) NAICS code and (6) contractor’s capability statement. Responses shall be submitted via mail, fax, or e-mail no later than November 14, 2003. THIS SYSPOSIS IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARFDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOICATED WITH PROVIIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. RESPONDENTS WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULSTS OF THE EVALUATION. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MUST ARRIVE ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.
