- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations for Carbonate Calcium. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0487. The BEP has a requirement for 50,000lbs of Calcium Carbonate Ultra Fine recipitated Albaglos technical packaged in 50lb multi-wall bags, and palletized in accordance with the BEP Specification. Specification is available upon request. Purchase Order shall be complete within 30 days after receipt of an order unless an alternate delivery date is agreed to in writing by both parties. Delivery term is F.O.B. Destination to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing 3201 Pennsy Drive, Landover Warehouse, and Landover Maryland 20785. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts12 and 13 shall be used. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 325188. With a small business size standard 1,000 employees. An Offerors quote must contain the following in order to be evaluated: The basis on which an award as a result of this RFQ will be made is price and other factors. 1. Quoted unit price 2. Quoted F.O.B. Destination 3. Vendor to provide certificate of analysis. All interested small businesses may be made on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number the Proposed unit price, the propose extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, tax identification number, DUNS number, any size status (i.e., small business, small disadvantage business, and/or woman owned business)phone number, fax number. If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. All interested small business Quotations are due no later than May 10, 2004.
