- The pre-solicitation notice for RFQ N00174-04-Q-0094 is hereby modified in accordance with the following: This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. NAVSEA Indian Head is seeking to indentify sources capable of providing micro-hard layer (0.01 inch thick coupons) propellant testing on the MK 104 sustain grain slot and bulb tip coupons. Testing could include both mechanical and chemical properties. Chemical testing may consist of fine scale measurements of propellant plasticizer, anti-oxidant, catocene, liner curative, cross-link density, and extractable components. Tensile tests may be performed to measure tensile strength and relaxation modulous. A limited number of full size bulk tensile coupons may be tested to document size bias. Companies capable of providing the defined ser vices are encouraged to respond by providing their company name, points of contact, a brief statement of capabilities and relevant corporate background, and busisness size.
