- Description
- The Navy requires Silver/Zinc battery cells for the Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) and associated services, repair/spare parts, and related data. Delivery is required approximately 10 months after award. Inspection and acceptance will be at source with delivery FOB destination Deep Submergence Unit San Diego, CA. The required batteries are DSRV 1-2 emergency batteries IAW MIL SPEC DOD-B-24531. The basic quantity contract will cover FY04 requirements (8 each), and there will be an option for the FY06 requirement (8 each). The Government will make available Government Furnished Material (silver) as required. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335911 and the size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns.
