- McGhee Tyson Air National Base intends to award sole source to Thales Components Corporation for Angenieux Camera Lenses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemente d with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicit ation F4216E40780001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 12. This solicitation document and inc orporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. (iv) N/A. Quantity: 2 EA. Line Item 0200: Part# 208870, Angenieux Wide Super Zoom 2/3 inches 12x5.3 AIF.HR 2/3 inches format video camera lens with 2x extender, focal length F5.3-64mm, F/1.7-2.1, F10.6-128mm-F/3.4-4.2 with 2x extender, with sunshade and ultraviolet filter, weight 1.8 kg (3.9 lbs), combines the widest angle F5.3mm (79?) and the longest zoom rang e 12x; 2/3inches with 16/9 capabilities, Assisted Internal Focus (AIF) technology, fluid zoom control and precision focusing capabilities.
