- Description
- The Government is seeking potential vendors to provide Hood and Duct Cleaning Services to end users at McConnell Air Force Base, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, management, and expertise to perform onsite cleaning of exhaust systems over cooking appliances, dust filtering paint booths and clipper rooms in accordance with the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), National Fire Code # 96, Sect 11.4.1. The contractor shall utilize cleaning procedures identified in the National Fire Code (NFC) # 96, Sect 11.4 Cleaning of Exhaust Systems. A solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System on or after 15 May 2004 and can be found at www.eps.gov . Potential vendors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR can be reached at (888) 227-2424. The acquisition solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561790, with a Size Standard of $6.0M, however the Government will accept proposals from all businesses. In the event of insufficient small business participation, award will be made on an unrestricted bases. This acquisition is being procured as a commercial service IAW FAR Part 12. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced requirement contract. The period of performance will be 01 July 2004 though 30 September 2004 (base period) and four, one-year option periods.
