- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 5 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. The 8(a) Set-Aside requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for which Delivery Orders may be place for one (1) year. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period on or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. See Note(s): 9, 12, 26.The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of May 18, 2004. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS or SRweb solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 2540 and 2910. CLIN 002 NSN 2540-01-387-3987 First Article Test 1 Unit 30 Days, CLIN 003 2540-01-460-1075 First Article Test 3 Units 45 Days, and CLIN 004 2540-01-472-5091 First Article Test 2 Units 45 Days. First Article CLINS will be using GFP (2320-01-354-3386) M1078LMTV Vehicle for Testing. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns only. NAICS Code 336322. Eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional stage. Interested 8(a) concerns should request copies of this solicitation as soon as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program.
