- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Defense Homeland Security intends to purchase utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13 and policies in Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items, ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC short course) and SHIPBOARD GROUNDING and BONDING TRAINING which is to be conducted at a provided facility in Norfolk, VA, for 10 personnel. The course shall be designed for electronic and power systems on U. S. Coast Guard ships. The instructor for this course shall be NARTE, or IEEE certified EMC and/or Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) engineer with prior shipboard experience. This is 100% SET-ASIDE SMALL BUSINESS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611710, and Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 million. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
