- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement intends to issue a modification a sole source bridge contract awarded to Global Maritek Systems 5251 NW 33rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309 for vessel maintenance. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C 2304(d)(1)(B) and 41 U.S.C. 253(d)(1) (B) per FAR 6.302-1(2)(ii)(B). This is an interim action intended to ensure continuity of support currently being provided by Global Maritek. The period of performance for the modification is 90 days with (3) 1-month options. Services under the contract include vessel maintence support for CONUS sites and Puerto Rico sites for the National Marine Support Center. There are urgent and compelling circumstances that may significantly affect the interest of the United States. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation for offers. This synopsis is for information purposes ONLY. See Note 22 -- Please insert"2 days" in lieu of "45 days".
