- Description
- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the mechanical maintenance services commercial activity function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Great Lakes Region, located at various field offices in South Central Michigan. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of fifteen (15) commercial activity FTE represent the incumbent service provider located in Battle Creek, Michigan. Government personnel consisting of two (2) commercial activity FTE represent the incumbent service provider located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Lansing, Michigan. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Flint, Michigan. The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NO SOLICITATION SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is J.
