- The Bureau of Reclamation, Snake River Area Office, Burley, Idaho, per the authority of FAR 6.001(a) and using FAR Parts 13 procedures, intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the Minidoka County Weed Department, 120 S 400 W, Rupert, ID 83350-9672, for noxious weed control on Bureau of Reclamation lands within Minidoka County. The NAICS Code applicable to this requirement is 561730. MCWD is uniquely qualified to perform this work for the following reason: a) MCWD possesses the skills, expertise and knowledge necessary to treat the Reclamation lands effectively at minimal costs. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, persons interested in this requirement may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All information received by 4:00 PM MST, May 14, 2004, will be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed action, however, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
