Description
Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama is seeking companies who have the capability to repair Government owned Numerex Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) ?????? DCC Apollo Series, Model Numbers RS-70 and RS-30 located in Bldg 133, Anniston Army Depo t, Anniston, Alabama. Each CMM is equipped with a Hewlett-Packard 308 computer. Requirements shall consist of all materials and supplies necessary to provide on-site emergency repairs and calibration services for the CMM which includes lab or diagnostic and calibration equipment, special tools, documents, transportation, schematic, common tools of the trade, etc. Each CMM shall be calibrated twice a year at six-month intervals. Preventive maintenance checks will be in conjunction with calibration servic es and shall consist of all things necessary to reduce equipment down time including inspecting for worn or damaged parts, cleaning, and adjustments when needed. Equipment operational checks/self-test procedures will be designed to verify that the equipme nt is 100% operational and ready for government use. All equipment used to calibrate the CMM shall be certified with standards traceable to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS). A Certificate of Compliance for each CMM must be issued to the Government upon completion of calibration services. The on-site emergency repairs for the CMM will be on a high priority basis. After notification that services are needed for the CMM, arrival time to the installation must be within forty-eight (48) hours. Only ne w OEM repair parts shall be used to repair the CMM. All replaced parts or components shall remain the property of the government. Interested companies are requested to provide brochures, literature, published prices lists, and POC??????s for similar type work, not later than 7 days after synopsis appears in the FedBizOpps.
