- Architect-Engineer Services: Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the Mississippi Air National Guard Base located at 6225 M Street, Meridian, Mississippi. Scope of Services: Architect and engineering services are required to provide Type A Services (soil boring, site development, cost analysis, alternative designs), type B services (actual project in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations), an d type C services (construction inspection) for maintenance and repair projects, alterations and additions to existing facilities. These projects will require multidiscipline-engineering services in investigative, design, and inspection. List of proposed projects as follows: Relocation of Main Gate and Base Entrance, Design Composite Motor Pool/Security Police Facility, and Design HVAC Renovation/Building 705. The services required for each project will be negotiated under a separate delivery order. Ev aluation factors: 1. Professional qualifications of the disciplines (not intended to be inclusive): Architect, Civil Engineer, and Energy Management Specialist. 2. Specialized experience and technical competence. 3. Capacity to complete work on time. 4. Past performance. 5. Location in general geographical area of the project. 6. Volume of DOD work in the past 12 months. Any resultant contract will be for a period of one year with up to four additional years of service. The maximum amount paid for each delivery order will not exceed $550,000. The total of all orders placed under each individual (12 months) contract period shall not exceed $2,000,000. A/E firms located outside the commuting distance (90 miles) of Meridian, Mississippi that wis h to be considered must be willing to establish a temporary branch office within the commuting distance. The government will not pay for out of town travel. A single contract is to be awarded from this solicitation., Firms desiring consideration shall s ubmit Standard Form 254 and 255 to Lt Col David Kennard, 186th Civil Engineer Squadron/DE, 6225 M Street, Meridian, Mississippi 39307-7112 to be received no later than 28 May 04. Include the number and dollar value of the A/E contracts awarded by the Air National Guard and DOD agencies (include the previous year if less than 6 months). Also include copies of any government evaluation reports showing performance on past work if available. The NAICS is 541310, the Standard Industrial Classification if 8711 , Engineering Services. This is not a Request for Proposal.
