Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cla uses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-22, 5 April 04 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DFAS, 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20040323. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Cre dit Card. The North American Industry Classification System NAICS is 221122 with size standard of $4 Million. This requirement is for the installation of twenty standard telephone poles, emplaced using techniques suitable for extended use in the Alaska en vironment at remote location for available service and maintenance of equipment. Distance to be covered is approximately 2000 meters. Load and Print Information provided by Cold Regions Test Center ?????? Mobility Test Complex. Grounding Electrode Conductor Size: 3-0 min Cu. Total Connected Load: 510 kVA. Maximum Diversified Demand: 400 kVA. Transformer Size: 500kVA, Transformer Spec. Number UG21A-500. Secondary Service Conductor: Underg round: same as entrance conductor above, Length 15 feet. Available Fault Current at Service Entrance: 32110 Amps, RMS Symmetrical, Metering: C.T.: 400:5, Demand Reg. Yes, P.T. none, Meter Socket: 13 Jaw, Test Switch number 110-1423 10-pole. Clearing and maintenance of the ground immediately below the power lines. Installation of appropriately sized transformer once all required hardware is in place.
