- The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C. is requesting a quote on the following: Provide services for hand planting 62,250 containerized longleaf pine seedlings on 88.9 acres at Poinsett Range Shaw AFB SC 29168. Contractor shall furnish all labor, planting materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision and perform all work required to hand plant containerized longleaf pine seedlings as specified in the attached Statement of Work. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) # FA4803-04-QS220. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22, Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2004-0419. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, and the size standard is $6,000,000. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Include in proposal: company name, address, point of contact cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items (Price and Delivery); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 252.246-7000, Material Inspection and Receiving Report. Also, Shaw 19 and 21 are applicable. Copies of Shaw clauses will be provided upon request. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the quotation, which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price and delivery time. All offers are due no later than 28 May 2004 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Complete Representations and Certifications are required with submission of pricing.
