Description

The contractor shall provide a minimum of fifteen (15) wheelchair van to the Philadelphia VA Medical Center for twenty-four hour transport services of VA patients as required. All vehicles shall be of make/model type 1999 or newer. Vehicles older than 1999 will not be considered for use. This contract shall cover the entire area within and beyond the boundaries of Philadelphia. Vehicles must pass Government inspection prior to contract award. The (North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) is 485991. All requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing or faxed to 215/823-6054. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. This will be an IFB contract; the contract is set aside for small business. The tentative issue date for packages is 5/03/04. Packages must be complete or they will be considered non-responsive.
