Description

The purpose of this modification is to correct dates for uploading solicitation. Solicitation for install culverts for Windy /Baldy Creek will be uploaded on May 11, 2004 and proposal is due June 10, 2004. No other changes are anticipated. This project consists of removing three undersized culverts at three different locations and replacing them with two structural plate arches and one 1800 mm round pipe. Segment 1 is located at Milepost 0.8 on Forest road 3820 at Windy Creek. This site will have one undersized pipe removed and installs a 4.27m span by 2.21m Rise structural plate arch with concrete footings. Segment 2 is located at Milepost 1.0 on Forest Road at Baldy Creek. This site removes the existing undersized pipe, and installs a 4.52m Span by 1.47m ft. Risse structural plate arch with concrete footings. The third site replaces an undersized culvert and installs a 1800mm round pipe. The first two sites will have excavated material, minor structural excavation, unsuitable material, pit run aggregate, crushed aggregate, riprap, concrete for the footings. The third site has the same except there are no concrete footings. The pipes will be Government furnished property. Estimated start work date is July 1, 2004. Price range for this project is $100,000 - $250,000. This project is set aside for Hubzone Contractors. This project will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov on approximately April 22, 2004. No hard copies of the solicitation will be made available.
