Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0050 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All applicable provisions and clauses are listed below. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation FA4600-04-T-0050 is issued as a request for quotation. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, and the small business size standard is $21,000,000.00. The government intends to issue a Purchase Order for Item 0001: InMon Traffic Server software for Solaris (Unlimited Agents), 1 each; and Item 0002: Annual Maintenance Agreement for InMon Traffic Server for Solaris (Unlimited Agents), 1each. All quotations must be received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by April 23, 2004 at 12:00 pm CST. Quotes must be valid until 23 May 2004. Quotes will be e-mailed to charles.jones2@offutt.af.mil. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED and NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW. CCR.GOV TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
