- GSA intends to single source (Pursuant to FAR 16.505-logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract) the following equipment to GSTek as “Open Market Items” under the company’s respective GSA schedule pursuant to FAR 8.4: 1800 pair air core cable (103711297), 1800 pair 24 AWG gel-filled cable (106584188), 1200 pair 24 AWG gel-filled cable (105186258), 900 pair 24AWG gel-filled cable (106584154), 600 pair 24 AWG gel-filled cable (106583982), 400 pair 24 AWG gel-filled cable (106583974), 400 pair pressure plub/stub (10E2-400), splice cases (2D2A-510, 2C2A-510), end plates (2D2-1E-510, 2D2-2E-510, 2C2-1E-510, 2C2-2E-510), splice modules (710-SC1-25), brackets (S89D), krone blocks (6652-1-1880-10), plywood, krone blade for termination (10565-000), 96 strand hybrid F.O. cable (OPNA48SM/48MM), mule tape (DLWP12-500), environmental distribution center (EDC-12P-NH), coupler panels (CCH-CP08, CCH-CP08-25T), splice trays (M-67-112), splice case (SCF-6C28-01-144), SM F.O. pigtail with ST connector (FOASSMSTX-3M) and MM F.O. pigtail with ST connector (FOASSTST-3M). This is not a request for competitive quotes. GSTek is currently under contract to maintain the base cable plant and air pressure system and is responsible for the maintenance of the base cable, records, and the continuity of services throughout Naval Station Norfolk and the Amphibious Base Little Creek.
