BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT (BAA) 03-DE-03 AMENDMENT 3 Novel Optically diVerse Applications (NOVA) Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Directed Energy (DE) Contracting Directorate (PKDB), 2251 Maxwell Ave, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117-5773 A. INTRODUCTION: This announcement is Amendment 3 under BAA 03-DE-03. The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Directed Energy Directorate (DE) located at Kirtland AFB NM re-opened four topic areas under this BAA per Amendment 2. An additional topic area is being advertised under Amendment 3 as follows: B. TECHNICAL TOPIC AREAS: 11) Maui High performance Computing Center (MHPCC) Technical Support The contractor shall analyze, evaluate, review, and respond to test plans, procedures, and reports for all networks and computing platforms at the Maui High Performance Computing Center. These systems/platforms currently consist of IBM SP platforms, IBM Linux Clusters, Sun systems, SGI systems, and other computational and network devices utilized in support of the operations of the center. The contractor shall conduct or participate in the operation, testing, and routine analysis of the high performance computing platforms and networks at the MHPCC. The contractor shall provide special hardware/software design, fabrication, installation, and test for rapid response requirements. (Technical POC Valerie Skarupa, Ph: 505-846-2901) C.
