- Repair to designated sections of erosion damages of the Training Areas. Work includes the following: excavating; pulling stumps; clearing and grubbing; grading, dirt light; grading, roads includes pull to middle and feathering out; grading, rock; s haping, dozer; silt fence, class III installed; geotextile fabric; riprap 12 inches, placed; rock #2 & #4 placed or spread; rock #6/10 placed or spread; rock, dense grade placed or spread; road tile installed; water turn out work; trucking various material s haul is within 15 miles of work site and includes return t rip; head wall, riprap includes placement of riprap on upstream and down stream sides of the culvert to protect culvert; mowing, bushhogging, heavy; mowing, light work is along road banks in impr oved areas; mulch, straw; mulch, wood; mulch, fiber mat 8 ft. wide; seeding, drill seed provided by government; seeding, broad case seed provided by government; disking, light agricultural; cultipacking seed, fertilizer, lime, includes hauling and spreadin g; and compaction of stone using roller. Contract type is a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract for a Base Year with Two (2) Option Periods. Period of performance for base year is slated for 29 September 2004 through 28 September 2005. The estimated ra nge for this project is over $10,000,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the Small Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. For the purpo se of determining Small Business size, NAICS 237310 for this acquisition the average annual receipts of concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $28.5 million. For this procurement, it has been determined that compet ition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by the SBA within region 4, which have the above assigned NAICS code among those approved for 8(a) participation.
