- 17. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis a non commercial item contract to General Dynamics C4 Systems 77 “A” Street Needham, MA 02494-2806, CAGE 04655; a contract for TACLANE (KG-175) E-100 Encryptor Release 2.0E and TACLANE KG-175 Rack Mount Shelf Kits. TACLANE (KG-175) E100 Encryptor is National Security Agency (NSA) approved information security equipment and is only available through this NSA approved vendor. This information security equipment must be procured through vendors approved by the NSA. There is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. General Dynamics C4 Systems is the only one known responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy or meet agency requirements. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be honored for information purposes only. Items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination and delivered and accepted at MCTSSA, Supply Officer, Bldg 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5171 no later than sixty (60) calendar days after contract award. If no affirmative written response is received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with General Dynamics C4 Systems for the requirements stated herin.
