- Description
- The Agricultural Research Service (ARS), USDA, plans to award a contract to Barlow Eddy Jenkins, PA of Jackson Mississippi, on a sole-source basis for architectural and engineering services for the Phase One renovation of the Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center in Stoneville, Mississippi. The project will require professional services in the disciplines of architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. The services will include, but not be limited to: abatement analysis, design criteria development, designs, analyses, drawings, specifications, detailed costs estimates, bid evaluations, shop drawing review and approval, construction monitoring and inspections, and other related tasks as required. A solicitation will be issued sole source under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), “supplies or services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies of services will satisfy agency requirements.” All potential offerors should contact the POC identified for additional information and/or to communicate any concerns regarding this acquisition.
