- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The purchase request number is F23J6040970500. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-05. This procurement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334111, Information Technology Manufacturing, the size standard of which is 500 employees. (Not to exceed). DESCRIPTION: Communications Equipment REQUIREMENTS: NERA M4 INMARSAT Telephone; 56/64 KBPS HSD RS-232 Interface; Euro ISDN Interface (RJ-45); SIM CARD Interface; AC/DC Adapter Charger. DC/DC Converter/Charger; Internal Battery; DECT Cordless Handset with Charger; Removable Antenna with 2 and 10 Meter Cable; Integrated Compass; Soft-Sided Carrying Case, and Operator’s Manual with Set-up CDROM. 5 Each, Secure Inter-Working Function to Allow Low-Speed (2.4kbps) STU-III/STU-IIB Operation over Nera M4 Terminals..
