- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Department of Fisheries and Ocean Canada Institute of Ocean Sciences for the office of National Marine Fisheries Science Center located in Seattle, WA. The purpose of proposed contract is for services to provide mooring and development cruises and biophysical modeling. The contractor will provide technical and logistical support for mooring design, fabrication and deployment and assist with the editing and analysis of all current and water property data collected within the purview of this program. The contractor shall spend several days of ship time twice per year for mooring and deployment and recovery as part of ongoing IOS field programs and share current meter data from IOS permanent mooring A1 located on the southwest coast of British Columbia and maintained under the auspices of ongoing Canadian fisheries-oceanography research programs. The contractor shall be responsible for developing 1-D biological/physical model for the ECOHAB project and will work closely with NWFSC staff in developing a 3-D biological/physical model. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00.
