- Description
- In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Freight Fowarding services. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officers (CO) are Lisa Schneider and Patricia Pemberton. The projected end date of the Competition is July 26, 2004. The Freight Forwarding services include shipping, receiving, invoice processing, small package express accounts, relocation, moving household goods, management and maintenance of internal safety and security requirements. These services are currently provided by eleven Federal government employees. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about July 27, 2004. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
