- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, USBP Air and Marine Operations Center intends to enter into a sole source contract with American Eurocopter LLC, 2701 Forum Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75052-7099 for the repair of US Border Patrol AS350B3 helicopter Serial Number 3464 N845BP. This helicopter is still under warranty and the term will be extended by the amount of time between the date of the incident until the helicopter is airworthy. The requirement will be processed under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No telephone inquiries. SEE NOTE 22. The time for response is changed to read fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-APR-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
