- Modification no. 001 to extend the close date from 04/28/04 to 04/30/04. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for sneeze guards for existing cafeteria service line. Sneeze guards shall be 156 inches and 81 inches long and be Brass Smith model ZGuard 9915. All dimension to Verify-In-Field. Sneeze guards shall be ¼ inches tempered front panel and 3/8 inches top shelves. Unit to have lighting option. Finish shall be BSI’S standard ZGuard finish. Quantity: 2 each. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 421740, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0494. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, D Street between 13th & 14th Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on April 28, 2004. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
