- This notice is modified to change the description of the item to read: Crane Deming Model 3186 4x3x9-1/2 size. Vertical, close coupled. Rated for pumping 500 GPM of seawater @ 280 feet total discharge head. Impeller Diameter shall be 8-5/8". All Bronze construction w/316 grade all stainless steel shaft. Equipped with 150# Ansi Flange connections (4" suction & 3" Discharge). A John Crane type 1, code XF10581 Mechanical seal w/ an abrasive separator made of KYNAR in the Seal water line. Impeller shall be keyed to the shaft and held secure in place by a 316 grade SS impeller screw and washer. Motor: 75 HP continuous Duty, 3500 RPM, 440 Vac, 3 Phase, open drip proof NEMA C Face JPV shaft motor for use with Vertical in line pumps. motor in accordance with IEEE 45 & 46 CFR 111.25. Motor provided with grease lubricated Bearings, A drip cover, lift eye bolts or lugs and a 120 Vac single phase Anti condensation strip heater. * Pumps to be Packaged and marked to specification SP-PP&M-001. Pump mounted in its own wood shipping crate.HSAR 48cfr 3052.209-70 Prohibition on Contracts with Corporate Expatriates is incorporated within this notice. The date to submit a quotation is no later than May the 5th, 2004 in lieu of April the 28th, 2004.
