- Description
- In May 2004, the FAA intends to post (in electronic format only) a Screening Information Request (SIR) Request for Offer(RFO) for the development, production, and installation of Instrument Landing Systems (ILSs). Proposals will be due approximately 60 calendar days thereafter. The selected offeror will be required to provide the products and services in accordance with the attached draft Sections B and C of the Request for Offer. Evaluations of offers will be made based on the attached draft Sections L and M. Qualified concerns interested in this contract opportunity are encouraged to submit questions with regard to the attached to Troy Teachey, Contracting Officer, ASU-310, Federal Aviation Administration, 800 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, D.C. 20591. Such questions should be submitted in writing and received not later than May 10, 2004. Responses to questions submitted in accordance with this criteria will be provided at a pre-solicitation conference to be held for all potential offerors at Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport, South Miami, FL. The date and time of this conference is not currently set. For Government plannng purposes all participants interested in attending this conference should contact Troy Teachey, at (202)267-7386. Additionally while at Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport all conference participants will be provided the opportunity to review the site at which the demonstration portion of the evaluation will occur.
