- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Pigment Magnetic Black Iron Oxide (50 lb bag) to be in accordance with BEP specification PG: BIO-1E dated May 3, 2000. Vendors can request a copy of specification to fax no. 202-874-2200. Vendor to provide the certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection for each batch or lot in the shipment delivered to the BEP-WCF. Receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the BEP is contingent upon the presence of the certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection. Quantity: 36000.lbs. The selected vendor will be required to palletize skids mark the skids with BEP stock number and purchase order no. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 325998, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0504. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on May 10, 2004. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
