- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of General Surgical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution in Oxford, Wisconsin. The successful contractor shall provide inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services, as well as a general surgeon privileged at that hospital. The contract period shall consist of a base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities are 12 inpatient days and 48 outpatient visits for hospital and physician services for the base year and all four option years. The solicitation will be available on or about June 1, 2004 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site; therefore, interested parties are responisble for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. Interested parties are encouraged to use the Vendor Notification capabilities available through the fedbizopps website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of proposals is on or about July 9, 2004. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration.
