- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITION NOTICE ONLY. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL BE ADDED AS AN ATTACHMENT (SOLICIATION) ON OR ABOUT 20 Feb 04. PLEASE GO TO FA8522-04-R-84663 ON OR ABOUT 20 Feb 04 TO RETRIEVE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE UNTIL ON OR ABOUT 20 Feb 04. DESC: Synopsis: This is a fixed-price contract using Insurance Policy procedures for ELECTRONIC PROTECTION MODULE, NSN: 5963-01-503-8921, P/N: 200225419, applicable to AN/PS-11. The requirement consists of a Mission Essential Quantity (MEQ) of 2,000 each, a Production/First Article Quantity of 10,000 each and 2 outyear options of 1-10,000 each. Required MEQ delivery: 13 Weeks after receipt of order. Material: Lexan Case, various electronic components. Function: Minimize or prevent voltage spikes and prevent damage due to reverse polarity and power shorts. Dimensions: 3.8 inches x 2.5 inches x 2 inches. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 20 Feb 04 with the approximate response date of 22 Mar 04. A copy of the solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizopps) Web site located at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. MEQ SOLE SOURCE to: ARINC. (CAGE: 1WAV4).
