Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 to Innovative Engineering and Consulting Corporation to upgrade and install a Long Range Thermal Imaging System currently owned by F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. The vendor will upgrade and install the Long Range Thermal Imaging System, and supply and install a Medium Range Thermal Imaging System for surveillance purposes at the F.E. Warren AFB Weapons Storage Area. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the Government will negotiate directly with Innovative Engineering and Consulting Corporation. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511 with a size standard of 750 employees. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to 90 CONS/LGCB, ATTN: Sandra Rutherford, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 or sent by email to Sandra.rutherford@warren.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted within 5 days after this electronic posting. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
