- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part 15. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) 400 Seventh Street, SW, Washington, DC 20590 intends to enter into a time and materials contract to develop a model law enforcement program for eliminating Commercial Drivers License (CDL) fraud nationwide. Period of Performance: eleven months from date of award. Task will include: Analyze major sources of fraud within the CDL process and the potential for reducing fraud through greater law enforcement involvement, analyze CDL enforcement practices within the states and develop a model CDL law enforcement program. This is an Unrestricted acquisition. Requirements will be further defined in the solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned website to receive procurement announcements by email. The Government anticipates issuing a Solicitation on or about April 24, 2004 with anticipated award date of May 28, 2004. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS website for the solicitation and amendments. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
