- Description
- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services seeks to purchase Siebel software on a sole source basis in support of the Medicare Appeals System. The Medicare Appeals System is a common appeals system, that supports the appeals process for Medicare Fee-for-Service and Managed Care programs. The Seibel products required are: Siebel on Sun Solaris 8 Quantity 1 Physical Server Siebel Healthcare Call Center 7 Base Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Healthcare (v7.5) Quantity 1 Ver-Lang English Language Extension - Quantity 1 Ver-Lang Siebel on Oracle 9i Database Server Quantity 1 Physical Server Siebel Advanced Search 7 Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Reports Server 7 Quantity 500 Named User Siebel SmartScript 7 Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Healthcare Providers and Facilities 7 Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Personal Lines Claims 7 Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Server Extensions for UNIX 7 Quantity 1 Physical Server Siebel Tools 7 Quantity 2 Named User Siebel on Microsoft Windows 2000 1 - Physical Server Siebel Proposals & Presentations 7 for Financial Services Quantity 500 Named User Siebel Server Extensions for UNIX Analytics 7 Non-Productions Dev/Test Serv Quantity 2 Physical Server Gold-17.5% Net-Annual Customer Support and Maintenance Quantity 1 - Each. This is not a solicitation, this is a notice of intent to contract with Siebel Systems. CMS is using the exception to full an open competition cited at FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties must submit complete cost and technical information by the response date established above. Email or fax responses are not acceptable. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be reviewed solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
