- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD for the RF gun Model 527 P/N 40291-40002-10, qty one (1) for the MH-60R program to verify performance of the ESM antennae and cables. The Model 527 is flight line programmable and can be programmed with up to 8 frequencies via a PCMCIA card and a laptop. The proposed acquisition is for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own drawings or specification. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
