- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, intends to award a sole-source contract to Pratt & Whitney of Canada (P&WC) for the procurement of one each model PWC535A engine to include storage and transportation container. This contract will provide for the procurement of this engine for the Navy UC-35D fleet of aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The model PWC535A is the only model engine used on the UC-35D aircraft and P&WC is the only manufacturer of the PWC535A engine. See Note 22.
