- Description
- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request F73AMX41130100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-05. (iv) This acquisition is not restricted. The associated NAICS code is 532111 and small business size standards are 21,500,000. (v & vi) To provide rental vehicles for United States Air Force personnel on government offical business in Salt Lake City Utah. Vehicles will be picked up and returned to Salt Lake City Utah rental agencies: (1 EA ) Standard Size four door sedan for the period of 14 May ? 05 June 04. ( 25 EA ) 7 passenger mini vans for the period of 14 May ? 05 June 04. (4 EA ) Full size 15 passenger vans for the period of 14 May ? 05 June 04. (vii) Vehicles MUST BE available 14 May 2004. (1) Sedan and (3) Mini vans must be available for pickup at Salt Lake City International Airport on 12 May 04. The remaining vehicles must be either delivered to Hill AFB or at a contractor facility within the local area 14 May 04. Acceptance will be FOB vehicle pickup point. (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is not applicable. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation. (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
