Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as request for quote (RFQ) 10611-0029-4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332410 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial item: CLIN 0001- Supply and install Hurst Boiler (Brand Name or Equal) model #S4-GP2-300-30W, factory packaged three pass scotch marine hot water boiler rated @ 300 hp, 10,043 MBH gross output; skid mounted; Webster burner firing natural gas @ 5# inlet; 3" tri gas train assy or #2 oil with remote pressure atomizing oil pump set; 460 voltage motor; 115 volt controls; high limit controls w/manual reset modulating control; probe type LWCO w/manual reset; 30 psig relief valve. Installation shall include start-up of boiler/burner units. Quantity of 1. Brand Name or Equal. Delivery requested within 60 days after date of order. FOB destination, Old NC Hwy 75, Butner, NC 27509. Quotes will be evaluated on price and price related factors. Award shall be made to the responsive/responsible offeror submitting the lowest total price. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
