- THIS NOTICE HAS BEEN CANCELLED. This is Notice of intent to make a sole source award to National Forest Foundation (NFF), Washington, DC, a NPO chartered by Congress in 1990, 16USC 583j, for purpose of assisting USDA FS, to assist USDA Forest Service and partnering agencies with delivering Forest Service mission to the public during the 100th anniversary commemorative activities to be held in January 2005. This requirement will be awarded under Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302. This notice is neither a requirement for proposal nor a solicitation of offer. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to USDA Forest Service, 1621 North Kent Street, RM 707, (CentinVM), Arlington, VA 22209. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
