Description

Project involves the rerouting and reconstruction of a double-lane standard road for FDR 28 near the Indian Creek crossing; and installation of a Galvanized Corrugated Steel Pipe Arch (10 Ga., 142" Span x 91" Rise, approx. 62 ft. in length) with inlet protection; decommissioning of existing roadway, with all drainage redirection and site work. The reroute will involve approximately 700 feet of new road development and relocation. Existing road wearing and base course aggregate to be stripped and salvaged as base course for proposed realigned road to be constructed. Water drafting sources for compactive efforts are estimated to be available within 15 miles of the project's mid-point (planned to be within 1 mile if local streamflow is present). The embankment and rock riprap borrow material sources for the project are designated within 9 and 28 miles respectively, and an aggregate wearing course source within 21 miles.
