- Description
- This is a Sole Source Solicitation for a Conference room needed for G8 summit for 13 days. Time period: 31May04-12Jun04. Conference room needed on Jekyll Island. The conference room will be used as a multi-purpose center for staging, administration, armory and operations planning. Sole Sourcing required because of the requirement for busses and vans to shuttle people to an offsite facility with the ongoing security constraints for the summitt. With the facility being within walking distance aliviates that factor, plus the factor of both the CG lodging area and the armory being manned 24/7 for security purposes will reduce the amount of security personnel required.
