Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-04-Q-3SYA46, is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423830 and Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. Line Item 1: Description ? Fabricate, prime, paint, and deliver four (4) 500 gallon double-wall fuel bowser (cylindrical tank) trailers with dual wheels as specified below: 10 inches high, 18 inches diameter strained opening on top of tank with closeable lid. 6 inches high fill spout, 6 inches diameter opening on top of tank with closeable lid. 1 inch vent pipe, 18 inches high with breathable cap. 1.5 inches 3000 lb. Hose Connect Coupling and shut-off valve. 1/8 inches ? 12 Guage Tank Wall Thickness. Four (4) Tires ST 205/75D15 on Modular Rims. Industrial Coating Paint, Safety Yellow (Fed. Standard Color #13538, Sherwin Williams) NOTE: NOT FOR PUBLIC HIGHWAY USE. Line Item 2. Description ? Fabricate, prime, paint, and deliver fourone (1) 500 gallon double-wall fuel bowser (cylindrical tank) trailers with dual wheels as specified below: 6 inches high fill spout, 2 inches diameter opening on top of tank with closeable lid. 1 inch vent pipe, 18 inches high with breathable cap. 1-3/4 inches 3000 lb.
