Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through full and open competition services to support afloat/deployable automated supply management for designated Navy and Marine Corps activities. This support shall consist of on-site assistance/training, formal training, and database validation/correction/reconciliation. Activities to be supported include NAVSUP, Fleet Commanders (CINCs), NAVICP staffs, Type Commanders (TYCOM) staffs, Marine Aircraft Wing (MAWs) staffs, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons (MALs), Naval Construction Force Staffs/Units, Naval Special Warfare Command Staffs/Units, and TYCOM?s subordinate afloat and ashore activities utilizing SNAP/NTCSS supported AIS. The effort is to be performed under a cost plus fixed fee contract consisting of a base year and four (4) one year options. The solicitation will consider offerors? technical proposals to be more important than their cost/price proposals. The following labor categories are expected: Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Senior Supply Analyst, Senior Information Systems Analyst, Intermediate Supply Analyst, Intermediate Information System Analyst, Junior Supply Analyst, Junior Information System Analyst, Instructor, Technical Writer, And Office Automation Assistant. The estimated hours of service for the contract are 405,000 for the base year and for each of the option years. The anticipated start date for the contract is January 1, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Navy. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals. The applicable NAICS Code is 611430. The RFP will be made available electronically, upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 5/15/04 at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered (http:/www.ccr.gov) in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
