- Description
- Project consists of the removal of an existing water control structure (WCS) and replacing with a new structure. The work includes a cofferdam, diversion and dewatering necessary to remove and replace the existing WCS, excavation, backfill, compaction, and regarding, a new concrete headwall, 60" reinforced concrete pipe, slide gate, handrail, and associated earthwork. The work site is located at the Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge near Annada, Missouri. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Dike and Other Flood Control Structures, with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be available in hard copy only. Solicitation packages will be available free of charge approximately 05/11/2004 with bid opening occurring on or about 06/10/2004.
