Description
The 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB, IL, is seeking firms to design and build Phase III of the Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) facility. The following information is a brief description of what will be included in the renovation, but is not all-inclusive. The TACC renovation phase III is approximately 25,000 sq ft of office space and located on the second floor of building 1600 at Scott AFB. Approximately an 11,500 sq ft area will require sprinklers and fire alarm systems under this project. The project objective is to maximize the occupancy using 120? furniture workstations to achieve 300-320 workstations with adequate furniture storage (using a base design of 5 linear feet per workstation). This project also includes demolition and new construction, which requires but is not limited to, moving walls, adding and removing ductwork, installing raised flooring, installing new electrical outlets and any other task that would be required to complete this project. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3 and AFFAR 5315.3 - Source Selection. The Source Selection evaluation factors are Mission Capability, Past Performance, and Price. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Officer, in writing, no later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent (within the past three years) and, relevant experience (work similar in type and scope) to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; and (d) evidence of bonding capability for this project. If packages are not received from two or more eligible HUBZone companies, then the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the planholder list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the planholder list will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The planholder list will also be maintained on and may be printed from this web site. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. Be advised that all interest parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive a contract award.
