Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number is HE1254-04-R-0022 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-22. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, tax exempt, an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. Proposals shall include offeror's best and final offer. FSC Code: 7610, Book & Pamphlets. NAICS Code: 511130, Book Publishers. Size Standard: 500 Employees. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: DoDEA requires textbooks for the teaching of mathematics in grades PreK-5. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING Proposals for this RFP must be complete, signed, dated, and due in this office at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Procurement Division, 4th Floor, 4040 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22203-1635, no later than 2:00 p.m., EST, Friday, May 28, 2004. Proposals shall be marked with the HE1254-04-R-0022 and addressed to Mr. James Church. All documents and materials must be submitted in accordance with the attached RFP Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database (www.ccr.gov/) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is mandatory. Proposals shall include CAGE code, DUNS number, Tax ID number, email address, business size (large/small), and web site address, if applicable.
