REFERENCE PRESOLICITATION NOTIFICATION: PR-HQ-04-10547 - POSTED ON JANUARY 14, 2004: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is performing "market research" to determine potential small businesses, 8(a) firms, Hubzones, or Native American Affairs businesses that can perform all of the tasks listed in the "DRAFT" statement of work that is posted at our web site listed below. The requirement is for Environmental Analytical, Technical, and Research Services that are needed to support the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Underground Storage Tanks. The applicable NAICS code is 562998 with a size standard of $6,000,000. Interested firms that meet the categories stated above must submit an electronic copy of a capability statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to perform the work. In addition, firms must demonstrate they have the necessary personnel with demonstrated experience, labor, materials, services, equipment and facilities to support the efforts delineated by the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). Also, firms must provide their business size status for the above referenced NAICS, (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) businesses, small disadvantage businesses, small woman-owned businesses, HUBZones, service disabled veterans. The electronic capability statement must not exceed 10 pages in length, and must be formatted in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect (preferably an earlier version). E-Mail the capability statement to the Attention of Charles Clemons at clemons.charles@epa.gov no-later-than April 28, 2004. The "DRAFT" statement of work ( previously poated under presolicitation number PR-HQ-04-10547) can be located at http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod/index.htm#sources.
