Description: This synopsis is to announce our intent to extend the period of performance of the current Commercial Travel Office (CTO) concessionaire contract from 01 Jul 04 through 31 Oct 05. This action is necessary to provide continuity of services until Los Angeles AFB is absorbed into the Defense Travel System (DTS), currently scheduled for November 2005. The current contract (F04693-01-H-0004), consisting of a basic one-year period and 2 one-year options, expires on 30 Jun 04. The current service provider is Rodgers Travel, a woman-owned, small disadvantaged business located in Philadelphia, PA. The proposed extended period of performance will consist of an additional one-year option period and a four-month option period. Additionally, a series of one-month option periods will be incorporated, only to be exercised should the LAAFB absorption into DTS be delayed. This synopsis will not result in the issuance of a solicitation and is not an invitation to submit bids, proposals, or quotations.
